Dante Beatrix

Dante Beatrix is a company I founded to design and manufacture women's handbags. Through a series of pivots it morphed into a children's accessory company. Starting with Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross it attracted a host of celebrity fans and launched selling to stores like Barneys NY. Dante Beatrix was featured on The Today Show and was the subject of a chapter in Brand Story (a textbook for fashion merchandising). I designed all the products and art directed all promotional materials including the website and catalogs. In 2010, I sold my portion of the company to two partners, whom I recruited. The company operates today as BeatrixNY.com and continues to sell internationally.
